Sebella: That’s One Big Drill by Mika Rayne is a fun, sexy story about a second-chance romance. When I signed up for the ALC from Darkstar, I saw the title and that it’s written by Mika Rayne. I loved her book, Wolf Mountain, and knew I would probably love this one too; my instincts were right. What I didn’t know until I was almost done listening was that this was part of a larger series. I can honestly say that I don’t believe you have to have read the other books to enjoy this one, but I can tell you now, I will definitely be going back to the first book and reading and listening to the rest.
Speaking of listening, the audiobook is great! Darkstar’s production sounds great, and I didn’t hear any pops, clicks, or words cut off. Tony Duran, Miel Webb, and Jack Hill gave fantastic performances. This is the first book I’ve heard narrated by Miel Webb, and I’m a new fan. Troy Duran always brings his characters to life with killer energy.
